I think he was talking about the cow horns head piece when she was on the horse. Cows are very important in many African cultures. Throughout the traditional and cultural history of Africa, the cow is one of the most important animals. Cows are a symbol of strength and masculinity, a symbol of wealth, fertility and authority, the significance of the cow has been able to withstand colonization and westernisation in Africa.

And it is not demonic.

My commentary was towards the comment about him( red shirt) referring to Beyoncé’s “hat” ( a gele) as demonic. I surely know our cultures aren’t demonic (I’m African too). @@bowsoverbros I was trying to do 2 things in my comment. 1 clarify that I didn't think he was referring to the gele (the turquoise hat) but the head piece when B was on the horse so he wouldn't be mislabeling that head piece a gele. I have always know the cloth head wraps to be called a gele, but if I am wrong please correct me. 2 in case he reads the comments I wanted to educate him on the symbolism and imagery he was calling demonic but do it in a way to not shame him for his ignorance. I thought I was adding to the conversation, giving context so he would understand why B would make that artistic choice. I was not trying to educate you, I was trying to bolster you point. Yea there’s actually a chart breaking down the different African Deities she portrays throughout the visual album on Disney+. Beyonce is definitely a Christian but she does recognize that people of the African diaspora call to certain powers or energies which is why she called the Lion King album “The Gift” her love letter to all of Africa.
