This era's Beyonce is showing us that it's ok to make mistake. She used to be a total perfectionist (from vocals to instruments) but maybe she realized that she doesn't want to be that 'robot' anymore who's always technically pitch perfect. All I can see from her now is that she's just having fun and doing whatever she wants. Remember this wasn't the only 'me myself and i' performance from this tour that she went flat. There were a couple more others. In contrast, during the Beyonce experience tour, her 'me myself and i' performances were always technically perfect in delivery (you can't find one performance that she went flat). This makes me think that her deciding to hit the wrong/flat note is really a personal choice. I mean the fact that she has the ears for music and the range to sing her notes even justify my suspicion that she's doing all this by choice.
