I have a beautiful testimony about this film... I was 4 years old When I saw this movie and I said "I want to be a chorus's director and a music producer"... The years passed on and I forgot that desire... But today I saw this movie again after 20 years and tears ran down my cheeks, because without thinking now I'm a chorus director in a church and a music producer. Thanks God 👆🏼❤️

Watching this when I was younger I didn't fully get the message. Now I understand how they're trying to say that no matter who you are, God still loves all of his children. Beyonce was the "sinner" for having a child out of wedlock, the prisoners, rappers, old and young people. There is space in the church and Gods heart for everyone, and no one can take that from you. Not even the so called "saints" in the church who look down on others who sin differently from them.

This song help me when I was dealing with a serious rough patch in my life. Just got off active duty from the Marines. My marriage ended. Got shot twice and stabbed 6 times and was in ICU for 28 days. Everywhere I turned it was blockage in my way. Ended up in the VA Hospital Mental Health Ward 3 times. Having PTSD and didn't know how to deal with it. Felt like I was holding up space. I was ready to just give up until one my kids asked me to watch this movie with them. When I heard this song.. The tears just started flowing. As much as I thought the world was against me and I was alone. I was reminded that no matter what I do and what others may think of me.. God still loves me. And that loves is unconditional. This song is the theme song to the story of my life.

This song changed my whole view of the world. Mom played is for me as a kid and I never understood what it meant. I feel like I lost a close connection with God. Then when I hear this I realize that he is a God of forgiveness and he still loves me. Imma try to get back in connection with the almighty. So much inspiration ❤️❤️
