That story was an incredibly mixed bag, honestly. I liked the part where Perpetua got stomped by a big ol' bird. Currently, the most powerful character in the DC Multiverse is a big ol' bird, and I think that's the way it should always be.

The fact that the Batman Who Laughs, or rather the Darkest Knight, overshadowed her is why no one really cares anymore. For a new but highly overused character like him to show up and beat Perpetua, just made me roll my eyes.

@@BigBossMan257 Yeah, TBWL was a great and frightening villain...for his first couple storylines. As soon as he rolled up as the new ongoing threat to DC who was going to affect the entire universe, turn a bunch of heroes into Jokers, rewrite reality to suit himself, etc. etc., he lost most of the edge that made him stand out. Tragic to see a character wasted like that.

She definitely wasn't really Final Boss material when she literally put her trust in TBWL of all people. Only idi0ts like her wouldn't see TBWL's inevitable betrayal from millions of lightyears away since her Objective and TBWL's objective aren't aligned with each other (unlike Barbatos).

Gladiator is most underrated and misunderstood misused and is above superman (this coming from a dc and superman fan) he scales at full power to just below the Phoenix force he beat a sick Thanos that was still able to beat most of the universe Juggernaut at full power that was wiping out all the X-Men Gladiator was not even phase and was able to one shot all the X-Men and the Juggernaut at the same time so yeah I would say Gladiator is above Omega Level LOL

I honestly don't like Perpetua; she is a perfect example of the issue I'm seeing more and more with DC and Marvel comics. Constant and unchecked power scaling. Its like they think they need to constantly raise the stakes to make a compelling story because they don't know how to make small-scale stories compelling and interesting. Now it just seems meaningless and pointless at this point to have stories of this kind when they just seem to blur into the others and break suspention of disbelief.

I actually like her character design and the idea of having an omnipotent goddess. But I do agree that these grossly overpowered entities need to stop. DC and Marvel need to be more grounded

I never much cared for small scale stories and street level reading. The unchecked power scaling complaint is somewhat valid but I think that you just have a taste for street level reading like justice league, teen titans, Superman and Batman. Problem is that Justice League during the war with Perpetua went cosmic in order to keep up with such events. You're the kinda person to say that the Wrath of the First Lantern, Lights Out, and Multiversity weren't any good. DC and Marvel both shine brightest when handling cosmic affairs. Crisis Events will always be the main attraction of any generation In order to breakup the monotony of such large things I would enjoy if DC and Marvel started taking a look at some more Japanese and Korean content creators in order to dip into horror.

Just spitballing an idea: the omega and beyond omega series can occur on geek culture explained as well, but that could focus on movie, tv, or video game characters and objects. Ik for a fact everyone here would love that. Like I’d love to see an omega/beyond omega level video for like, the Reapers from the Mass Effect trilogy

What I want to know is who made her clothes and why does she wear clothes? Who named her? Did she decide she was a she? How did she come into existence? Why does she appear to have a clavicle and hands like humans if she's a being that transcends the multiverses. How can something you made from nothing kill you if you can literally unthink them? If she can create realities and multiverses, I assume she created time itself since and that she can exist outside of time. Wouldn't she see a being getting too strong before it happens?

Galactus appearance depends on which species you are. Since he is some high cosmic power that is impossible to comprehend by mortals, those mortals view him with properties that ressemble them. So for a human he looks like a humanoid and for slug like being like a slug. Maybe that´s the case for Perpetua, too. Perpetua was created by the source (the source is God) and created the multiverse from energies from the source. She didn´t create it out of noting. And for a stupid plot she somehow cn be beaten by her own creation and forgot that she can look into the future. But that happens everytime when a nigh omnipotent being gets beaten, like living tribunal, galactus, or the stupid Thanos storylines

The Batman who laughs becomes an Omega level god, kills Perpetua but gets killed by Wonder Woman by being thrown into the Sun. These characters powers are inconsistent, not even the writers know what they're doing anymore.

Basically the Batman Who Laughs took the powers of Doctor Manhattan, becoming the Darkest Knight and manipulated events until he would be strong enough and the heroes would weaken Perpetua enough for him to kill her so he could rule the multiverse.

Why hasn't Rob covered Imperiex from the DC universe. Given how grounded DC is w.r.t limited power scaling, I thought Rob would cover Imperiex someday but he only mentions Imperiex in his other videos but I feel he deserves some love too :)

On behalf of the robcorp I'd like to take the W for this. I never forgot about her. In fact recently while playing DCUO me and a few friends got into a debate about wonder woman vs captin marvel (the girl, not shazam) and i was the only one that brought up wonder woman vs Pepeutua (i just call her multiverse mommy tho) and that wonder woman wouldn't roflstomp binary because the levels of power are wildly different. I learned about her from you btw, hence the Rob Corp W. Also new rings when? OwO
