I play a Magic the Gathering Online Legacy league with Universes Beyond Cabal Coffers Initiative Stompy, a brew challenge from Michael from Tales of Adventure. I was challenged to build an entire Legacy deck only using cards with Universes Beyond printings on Magic Online. After exploring the options available, I kept getting drawn to Cabal Coffers plus Urborg from Lord of the Rings Commander as a fun engine to play with. Dark Ritual, Wasteland and Ancient Tomb are some of the most powerful cards available and lend themselves to mono black. The Initiative creatures from Dungeons and Dragons are a great payoff for fast mana. Plus we get Orcish Bowmasters and The One Ring. Plus some Transformers and Jurassic Park dinosaurs as a treat. Doesn't sound so bad? BEYOND SANITY! MTG

Did you consider playing Sloppity Bilepiper? It doesn’t fit the deck but it does give you an excuse to say “Sloppity Bilepiper” for an entire league.

Am I missing something at 46:43? 3+1+1=5 so you could have casted The One Ring. Also at 1:14:58 you're not actually offering a trade, since Spitting Dilophosaurus says creatures with -1/-1 counters your opponents control can't block (Not that it matters in this case of course)

I know you looked at Palantír of Orthanc, but I would think it's a great ark ritual target. What am I overlooking?

It's the same effect on a game as the initiative, which the deck is already centered around. The card is fine in a vacuum, I just don't think we need more "resolve a permanent and passively win" in the deck.

In game 1 of round three, you mentioned that not taking an initiative creature off throne of the dead three would put it back on bottom. Oddly enough this isn't true! Throne just says "then shuffle" presumably because they ran out of space on the card, so any card you see but don't take can be put back on top of the deck

I dont think you were fully dead at 34:15. Ravenloft has lifelink. Kappa can't kill you alone. Block the other creatures. They can only really spellbomb 1 creature and bouncing only Ravenloft isn't enough I think. Depends on what they draw. You win on your turn

Round Three you could have used the defile to survive the attack from Kappa Cannoneer and closed out the game the following turn, odds their topdeck changes that is pretty low.

At 13:00 why discard the reanimates? Discard passageway seer to hand size or ravenloft then reanimate them instead? Am I missing something?

The last game they were at 5 life, if you didn't find the 2nd ring would you have just won on upkeep with Initiative stacking the trigger so it resolves before the rings damage and go into Trap and kill them?

SPOILER r3g1 i think you couldve lived through the turn if you held up defile to shrink the capa attack, and then hoped the ring paid you out the next turn
