本当に失礼ながら、昔のカシオペアしか知らなかったのです。初期にはライブに行きまくりましたが、いつの間にかフュージョンからは気持ちが離れていきました。ふと、懐かしくなってカシオペアを調べ、今頃になってキーボードが女性になって、しかも本来オルガニスト、と言う事をしりました。「えー・・カシオペアで、オルガンって、、、」って思って、この動画を観て、大高さんにぶっ飛びました。それから、大高さん加入後のアルバムを聴きまくり、加入直後からの動画を観まくり、カシオペアがこんな進化の仕方をしてながらも、やはり芯がカシオペア、である事に驚き、感動し、また新たにCasiopea 3rdのファンになりました。ライブに行きたい。大高さんかっこいい！！

I definitely appreciate his lead playing, but I don't personally think his solos are very exceptional. Underrated composers of all time, though, sure! I do wish more musicians in the US knew about Casiopea and city pop and Japanese music and stuff

@@benirw1n To me his solos during the mid of the 80's ("Live at Ryougoku Kokugikan" or "Perfect Live") are very exceptional. I agree with you with his later solos. But you're talking with a fanboy. He's my absolute favourite guitarist and composer.

@@benirw1n I gotta agree here that his solos aren't the best, but his compositions ofc are timeless. Or, how should I put it... I think his solos with distortion aren't the best, and often come across as a bit clumsy. But his clean solos are the tastiest shit ever :D Just listen to his Mint Jams solos on Take me or Swear

19歳の学生時代琵琶湖バレイJazzFes 『夜だけど！アサヤケ！』というコールで始まった朝焼けの演奏あれはもう40年前のこと。今年のBBLではBEYOND THE GALAXYは聴けませんでしたが本当に僕にもこの曲には感極まるモノがあります。頑張って頑張ってやるべき事は全部やって、全力でそのまた先に連れて行って下さるような…そんな。

カシオペア加入以前から大高清美さんのオルガンプレイの凄さはローランドの動画などでも知っていたのですが、絶妙なバランス感覚が本当に凄いです。個人的にはジョン・ロードやキース・エマーソンよりも大高さんのプレイが今は好きです。オルガン教則ＤＶＤも買いました。物凄く勉強になります。

軽～く弾いているようなタッチなのにパワーもスケール感も感じる、これこそカシオペア流の「円熟味」といったところでしょうか。余計な力が一切入っていないのに、演奏自体のパワフルさは以前よりも増しているのがなにか「極み」の領域に感じます。

東京ジャズの時は１週間で音合わせしたと神保さんが感心していました。幸運にもそのコンサート、 FM放送を録音していて今も手元のPCMレコーダーで持ち歩いています。松田聖子のジャズも入っています。ぶりっ子と小バカにする人いますがとんでもないです。今は世界的なミュージシャンです。

「夜明けの空を宇宙に向けて飛び立つ」ようなイメージを曲にしたらこんな感じなのかなという気がします。カシオペアの音楽の世界は、時間とともに円熟するというよりもむしろ、拡がり続ける宇宙のようなスケール感をもって進化し続けているのかもしれません。

メンバーが幾度か変わっているものの、結成40周年は素晴らしい。　カシオペア節は未だ健在。カシオペア3rdは音だけ聴くとキース・エマーソンが加入したのかと思った。　よく見たら女性だった。彼女がいるなら、これを機会に昔のプログレ路線を狙ってはどうか。リターン・トゥ・フォーエバーの「ロマンの騎士」のようなコンセプト・アルバムを作って欲しい。
