Beyond The Sea was popularised by Bobby Darin in 1959. The original French lyrics were an ode to the sea, with it being changed to a love song by English lyricist Jack Lawrence
It has been a hit and recorded many times by singers and orchestras, including Robbie Williams, George Benson, Harry James Orchestra and Benny Goodman
