This is truly an engineering masterpiece. One must have a love for clocks to appreciate the intricacies of this incredible build.

This gent knows how to build a complex chronometer like this from scratch impresses me greatly. But he saying there is no creativity in clockmaking irks me a bit. Oh yes, there is a ton of creativity in clock making, engineering them to minimize friction and maximize energy usage. To make it all come together in a form that is both functional and pleasing to the eye, yet retain a personal element that states to someone that this was made by YOU and YOU alone. It's not just another Timex, or Rolex Oyster, but it's your clock. This complication that has seconds, days, chimes, and lunar phases, is no small ordeal. This gentleman knows his stuff. I would not be surprised if one of the watchmakers picked him up.

I would pay for the instructions to this!!!!!

This is very cool to see other clock, but this clock has a poor drop rate, which mean that the weight tend ot fall quiclky and because there are many friction especially in the escapement mechanism. It is a beauty but need to reengineer a bit to reach its max !

Complications are good, but accuracy must be terrible, it uses a verge and foliot for the escapement.
