I bought a refurbished Amia from you guys several weeks ago after experiencing excruciating tailbone pain when I switched to 10 hour shifts. Couldn’t test any chairs in person, so really depended on videos and reviews. Happy to say my tailbone pain is pretty much gone, so thank you! Would love to try a Leap or Lamia someday-if I do, you’ll be my go to. Not sure why I keep watching these videos, other than I guess I’m addicted to office chair comparisons. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The bad puns are a bonus.

Ordered a Leap V2 from you all on a Labor day special...WOW...great price for such a high quality chair! Lots of people in your comments and other videos claim the Leap seat is horrible and too hard...well none of these people evidently came off of a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 like I did; which was the equivalent of sitting on a stone bench. I love this chair and will definitely be buying that S Tier Lamia from you all at some point in the future. Thank you!

I just bought the herman miller embody gaming chair in graphite with the atlas headrest at my local retailer Xtra will be delivered in 2 days. Got it on the 9.9 Sale here in singapore. They included a free herman miller Flo monitor arm too.. Can't wait to use the chair. I've been using one of my dining chair at home for months and my back is really banged up.

I had the Serta for three years. It is still comfortable, but started peeling at the one year mark. I put a cover on it, and used it for another two years. Last month, I decided to "upgrade" to a better, less squeaky chair. I bought a Haworth Soji. After 20 minutes in it, my leg was falling asleep. One hour into my first use my bum is aching and the mesh is pushing my shirt up my back. I hope things improve, but my experience thus far with the chair is horrible. 24hr Update: I gave up after 6 hours. My tailbone couldn't take it any longer. For seat comfort, this is a D-. The padding is insufficient for an office chair. You might as well be sitting on Robert's Kitchen Chair. The positives for the chair are the adjustable arms and seat depth. I am also thankful for the 30-day trial policy. The search continues... (my size characteristics: 5'11" 245lbs.)

So I just bought a Herman miller Aeron remastered with all the features. The back is comfortable and I like how it opens my shoulders, but the seat is killing me. It is to stiff and just makes my butt and sit bones sore. I want something that will be comfortable to sit on but give me the back and lumbar support feeling of the Aeron remastered. Any chair you recommend? FYI. I tried the embody but it caused my shoulders to roll forward and wasn’t a fan of that. Thank you 🙂

Great video as always. One question I have is, in the video, it's mentioned that the seat comfort of Herman Miller Embody is very comfortable and the gaming version is shown in the video. Is this comment specific to the gaming version or would you say the same thing for the non-gaming version as well?

I love everything about my embody EXCEPT for the seat comfort. It’s very firm in my opinion and has caused a lot of pain for my rear end. So much so that I’m selling it

As someone that owns/owned several of these chairs now here is my opinion. First off I was able to get rid of my Fern and just got an Embody and I love it, it still needs a headrest so that is up next. If you want a chair that will definitely be loved by most people I would go with the Steelcase Leap, my Leap V1 is still super comfortable, maybe more comfortable than my Embody. I have a Haworth Improve HE from the 90s and that is still a super comfortable chair too. I liked the Zody too. The Knoll Generation is a nice chair also. I still kind of hate the Aeron but I sat in the new one in size C and it was better, the Mirra is better in my opinion. If I was to outfit an office today it would be with Leaps, Lamias or Ameaps. Every high end chair should be mandated to have Gesture armrests.

Do you mind explaining why you made the choice to give up the Fern for the Embody? Many people I've spoken to have said that the Fern is the more comfortable chair between the two but I've also seen people online have issues with Haworth's QC. I'm not sure which one to go for

I'm 6.2ft and can't decide between Fern, Amia, Leap or Embody. Unfortunately I can't test either of them as there are no AD's in my country for these chairs.

100% agree with the secret lab assessment. Even with a pad, Im miserable. But sadly, the chairs are made way too small and Secret Labs was the only one that made a chair big enough for us big guys.

If anyone wants the Herman Miller Embody I would recommend against it if you're taller than 1.8m, I'm around 1,85m and returned it because I'm not getting its full potential and it also digs into your shoulders, I'm using the Haworth Fern right now and its much better for taller people.

My work chair is a HM Aeron (C Tier, with one guy saying D+), and it's pretty solid for 40 hours per week sitting for the last 2 years. I just bought a Hayworth Soji (B Tier) for a new work space for the house, and sitting in it is busting my a$$ and jamming up my spine! How can they rate the Soji so well for a chair that is so bad??? I'm 6'2 230, so a bit on the bigger side, so could that be why the Soji seems so bad especially for a $600 chair?

We do tier lists on different things and there are 2 different Aeron chairs. If you look at the newest version of the Aeron as a whole, it’s an A tier chair. When we look at the seat comfort alone on the original Aeron, it’s F tier. -Ryan

I have been using a Titan Evo XL 2022 for more than a year and I cannot find a comfortable adjustment. I am going insane. It infuriates me that I will ultimately need to replace it and I am scared of not finding the right fit for me :(

I feel vindicated by you guys voting the Hyken F tier. I've been sitting in one for 2 years now, and every few months I watch your videos trying to work myself up to getting a new chair. Yeah I think they shouldn't have included it but I am sure it must be up there with the leap when it is kinda the same chair

@@morgan3625 I agree. but the leap is S tier. Everyone knows this. If you’re going to modify the chair the only reason would be to make it even better. So it’s not crazy to include it on the list.

That sentiment makes it hard to take the list and channel seriously, or, in much more likely probability, I truly just don't know what a good chair feels like. And you guys think the Ergochair is better? Wow.. uhm I guess you guys are on a different level than I am. Now, it certainly makes the list and channel seem invalid for me personally.
