A great job and a great video. To show us the paintnr. and the pressure how to spray it on the left side of the screen is a fantastic idea. Pls more. 10 thumbs up...

STUNNING build, especially considering the scale! Loved the side bars on the video describing the paint/thinner ratio, needle size, and PSI. Probably one of the best demonstrations of marble painting technique in any scale, more difficult of course in 1/72! Thought I saw you paint the right nav light red and the left green, was the Luftwaffe's different (opposite) the Allied configuration? Thoroughly enjoyed the video, great effort!!! Thank you for sharing!
@Scaleaton7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes i noticed that too :) Lights should be left red, green right i know that but i have no idea what i am thinking when painting that lights :)

The 110 is one of my favorite aircraft. Do you know what those black drums are in the gunners position ? The 110 could reload it's cannons midflight. Fully loaded, it could carry a staggering 360 20mm rounds where the 109-E could only carry 120 rounds.

Really nice job lot of details into it. And it's a 1\72 too small for me ! The only thing I would have wanted different would be weighted wheels ! That's a nice kit tho

@Scaleaton7 жыл бұрын
Çok teşekkür ederim :) Mig-3 maalesef ancak belki bir Mig-21 o da seneye belki.

Some sidebars state 70% IPA+30% Mr. Hobby. While on the Tamiya ones it's just "5% Tamiya". Is IPA in the other 95% or something else?
@riff20727 жыл бұрын
wow

How does the tamiya cement not melt away at the paint finish as you are gluing the canopy parts in?

Fantastic!! How many time take to you the entire project?

I watched your video, since I have a bunch of these Eduard 110 lined up as well. Love the replacement rear gun, a real nice touch to spice up the big glass house canopy. Just curious, who procdues these, and where might I get it? Thanks in advance!
@Scaleaton6 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! It's Mini World MG15. Mini World produces amazing metal guns in 1/72 scale.

Excuse me the dump question but what is the IPA you're using to thin the acrylic paint? I'm using Tamiya acrylic thinner, but it's pretty expensive. I used 96% alcohol but it didn't worked that good. Thank's 😉
@Scaleaton6 жыл бұрын
Try to make your own X20A %50 alcohol %50 distiled water and 10 drops glyserine per 500ml mixture. ;)

Scale-a-ton i have question about riveting tool. Which RB wheel did you use for riveting this model?
@Scaleaton7 жыл бұрын
Hi, i used 0.55mm wheel RB-T012
@RaduB.6 жыл бұрын
Hello! I try to catch up... For a long time I didn't follow your videos. I saw that you use clear flat from Alclad. Is it better than those from Gunze and Tamiya?
@Scaleaton6 жыл бұрын
Hi Radu, it's the best flat varnish i ever used.
@StrohmaniasFlyingCircus6 жыл бұрын
Between 21:55 and 21:57 did you coat the model in a gloss clear or did you decal over the previous paint?
@Scaleaton6 жыл бұрын
I think I was lost the part about it. Yes, I always apply X-22 clear before and after applying decals.
@StrohmaniasFlyingCircus6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I really like your videos. I have started to try some of your methods. :- ]

Love the finished plane, quite excellent. Your side notes are really nice (as others already pointed out) especially the airbrush settings. I do have one question, not a complaint by any means, it's just that I never saw a Luftwaffe aircraft of any type with the swastikas marked so low on the tail; usually they sit up high and prominent. Was that a feature of this 110 long range variant?
@wasrio14034 жыл бұрын
Definitely a feature of the 110's

Great, watch this video, get online spend money on another kit. I haven't seen you use primer in your videos. Why is that? Oh, and another great build by the way.
@Scaleaton6 жыл бұрын
Because I was not a big fan of primers until I have used Mr. Finishing Surfacer series. For the first time, I saw a primer that works :)
@digbysirchickentf23154 жыл бұрын
Buy cheaper paint and use more of it, also save the airbrush for the bits that need it, making a meal of this.
