Well, part of the reason he did so well it's because the helicopter was not challanged by jets at all but also he's an excellent gunner and the pilot is also exceptional. Cool vid but I'd hate to be on the opposing team when this happens

I hold down E (or F in my own case) to exit the TV missile before it has finished flying, because I had nothing to shoot it at =) Little known fact is that you can exit the TV missile (while it's flying) just like any vehicle, just press your Exit Vehicle key. Be bareful you don't accidently exit the heli while it's over the Battlefield though! Happens to me too often :P

I don't use any 3rd party plug-ins or mods. If you mean the colors in this video, I basically color corrected the video clip before I uploaded it. Mostly I gave it a minimal contrast and I boosted the colors 20%, to make it look more lively

God fucking igla and stingers... They really shouldn't disable in one hit, should be more powerful than heatseekers, but just not a disable. All it takes is one to make a pilot crash, and when a pilot is doing good, it should be up to a couple teammates or another pilot to hem out, not one lvl7 with a see and shoot weapon

It is a glitch. Equip T.V. missile, fire it once, and fire your chopper cannon. There will be absolutely no recoil, but there will still be spread. The same exact thing happens on xbox.

Your whole team was doing really well, the jets kept you alive the most though. Them straffing the enemy for you and even the guy in the M1 Abrams did work

Great flying and great gunning as well , not everyone can gun for all those who said the pilot is the only one doing the hard work. A viper is a heli for team work and if you don't have a good gunner you can be taken down easy by a good jet pilot

yeah, dude. that was some beautiful team work. this is out battlefield should be played. and man....you had one hell of a pilot. in my opinion, that's how heli pilots should fly. just hover and let the gunner do most of the work. great video

I think it's sad that they removed the in-game voip we had in BF2. With that you actually had a chance to communicate with your co-pilot by getting him in the same squad as you. Now the only thing you can do is pray they know what they're doing.

Nope, trust me - in helis you use ECM to deflect stingers and heatseekers, but if you're getting locked by soflams you use it to brake the lock. Gives you much more time to shoot and escape

It seems both players cooperate extremely smoothly, and the results are shown. It's very important for a succesfull duo to being able to understand and help each other. I could see the pilot staying still for long periods of time , so that the gunner would clear idividual enemies right beneath the heli, as well as the gunner firing at the same spot where the pilot was firing his rockets in order to take out stronger enemies. But it was obvious that these guys didn't have serious air enemies

What made it so much better in bf3 than 4 was having both be able to deploy countermeasures. Also you could hover so much better and the gun didn't shake at all. I'd actually say it was probably OP tbh

Recoil is when the Weapon jerks out of position and spread is when the bullets travel in different directions than directly at the target. Now both are linked but I never knew heli guns had Recoil? they are mounted directly onto the Heli = no recoil in my oppinion.

I remember really disliking what they did to Attack Helicopters in BF4. The reload mechanic I found really annoying. Now watching this again and playing a match last night. I am really glad they did.

In this particular game, neither of us had to do much at all really. In a real match both the pilot and the gunner gets tested against a skilled enemy heli crew and enemy jets. The pilot shows skill in dodging TV missiles, and the gunner shows skill hitting TV missiles =) This game we just chilled through and laughed on skype =P

Damn good game I just started playing on PC about a week ago I perfer PC but with all those people on your teams you're going to play the price if you're not working together,like these guys did..damn they got obliterated.BTW!!!!CHRIS! I think all the cred need to go to your boy BikeRaceJunk it really isn't tough to be a gunner(even tho you're damn good) but he was doing a damn near flawless job of keeping you guys alive.

The heli tilts upward, fires TV, then levels out and dodges the jet top attack, if the jet continues the attack the TV has 50% chance of hitting him with a good gunner, or the jet dodges the TV and lost the opportunity. If the heli keeps a high altitude the jet will have a hard time coming from above again, and has to resort to coming from below, which is even easier to dodge.

Props to the pilot, you guys seem like you have good coordination!

So it's not the right or the wrong way then, my pilot knows what he's doing.

I have long thought about doing a short series of infantry tutorials, so you'll probably see that in the future. But short tips right now: Always watch your minimap - always always always. You need to know where the enemies are, and you always want to flank them rather than attack head-on. If you do attack head-on you want to have cover nearby, never stand out in the open vs 2 or more enemies at the same time. Try to aim for the upper chest rather than the head. Rapid burst rather than spray

Gunner cannon has spread, which is easily countered by burst-firing.
