Honestly it was "fair" in the sense neither player got legends on their teams. However, you should come back to this sometime and add the legends in as many of them were far more key to Messi's background than Ronaldo's. For example Messi would have Xavi, Carles Puyol, and Abidal as the main three that would affect the starting team while Ronaldo might not get any as his team is already highly rated. Maybe some of the old Manchester United legends might appear such as Van Der Saar or Michael Owen, but otherwise no large change to the starting squad. Also not to mention you should find a roster for prime players like David Villa when he was actually good at Barca. The same goes for Dani Alves, Iniesta and so on and so forth. If this could happen then it would most likely be even more entertaining than this game was.

So basically, Real Madrid with some juventus players vs 2014 Barcelona.
