I'm fishing Robinson Creek Twin Lakes Bridgeport right before the Opener.
I'm out early hitting the rivers and streams. I brought the SDO BFS S-Rod (Prototype, LEAKED!). Come along for the adventure!

Brother, just the few minutes of watching you catch good size trout was epic. I absolutely love clear large creeks like the one you fished at. Love the view and scenery and just being alone catching good size trouts. Tight lines Brother!🎣👍

Bait casting reel or spinning reel. It depends on what floats your boat. I use spinning but that's me. It's all good.

I appreciate the Dub reggae beat. Told my buddy Thebaitfinesseangler to do it too but he put slow lo fi sleepy music in his videos. Music track selection is just as important as the visuals. Hope to run into ya one day you and i fish a lot of the same spots.

Thanks Phil! Oh man Phil. .that fish scared the poop out of me when it snatched the spoon out of no where...I was not expecting a 5 lbr to hit...I learned....6 lb test on rivers!!! This definitely help me in the near future...stay tuned bro!

I just caught 25+ rainbows out of Intake 2. A few over 14”. Every single one of them on an SDO Super Spoon!

It will be a little while. I'm working on customizing with the vendor. It's 2 pcs to keep things affordable and for ease of shipping. This 7 ft rod performed awesome on the rivers. Thanks for watching Norm!

Um i respectfully disagree 😅 bait casters are not that simple. You have to adjust the spool tension knob and the braking system and sometimes you have to play with it until you find the right setting. Spinning reels you just hold the line with your index finger, open bale, cast and close bale. Only knob you really need to adjust is the drag. But great catches nonetheless 👌

Fair enough. I should have mentioned it has it caveats. You're right. There are some adjustments to dial it in but when it works it works well. Not to mentioned the BFS reels vary in quality and performance. This Aldebaran 16 is at the top so less issues but I have my fair amount of issues with this reel. Not great in the wind. Some overruns, accidently touching the reel as it spins can really mess it up. When it bird-nests, it really bird-nests. You're also correct. 100% Tight lines

@@SuperDuperOutdoors Yeah bro bait casters aren’t the greatest for beginners. Spinning reels are. Each has their merits but when it comes down to simplicity, spinning reels takes the crown. I don’t know if you’re sponsored by those bait casters but like I said, they aren’t simple 😅 fish on ✊🏼

U lost that fish because u thumbed the spool to prevent him from taking more line… should’ve used a spinner and let the drag do its job … one of many reasons why I prefer using spinners over baitcast when finesse fishing … baitcast got all sorts of problems since they are specifically made to use heavier line and the drags aren’t as smooth as spinners .. nice try tho and stop thumbing the spool when the fish needs to run a lil bit let the star drag do its job .

BFS, spinning it wouldn't have mattered....letting that fish run wasn't an option. theres a deep hole...litterlly a small water fall right under that next log...about 6 feet deep filled with debry with a fast flow. If the fish went there it wouldn't matter if you had a broom stick with braid. I would have palmed the spool on the spinning reel. Either way, imo 6# test would have helped...the line broke.
