The difference between Kasmala and Sa Panaginip na Lang is so stark. Kasmala was about the Philippine tribal culture being “showcased” during a World Fair in the early 1900s and showed them as backward and barbarians. They brought tribal people from the Philippines, put them on display and when it finished, they did not send them back to the Philippines but they had to “integrate” into the American society (hence, them in western clothing) and then experience discrimination. As for “Sa Panaginip na Lang”, it is also currently my favorite song and I love the MV, too. I also couldn’t help myself and had to leave a comment.

Also I went to PPOPCON where almost all ppop groups performed and let me tell you they do sing live and they serve vocals💯
