Below are some of his well-known quotes along with the Sanskrit verse number and book title: "The secret of happiness is to accept where you are in life and make the most out of everyday" (Mahabharata, Anushasana Parva 113.8) "A wise man should never take an oath that he cannot fulfill, or promise a gift that he cannot give" (Mahabharata, Shanti Parva 109.12) "The man who speaks the truth is always righteous, even if he suffers pain and loss by doing so" (Mahabharata, Shanti Parva 178.16) "The real power lies in knowledge, not in physical strength or wealth" (Mahabharata, Shanti Parva 65.13) "The true measure of a man's character is in his ability to forgive" (Mahabharata, Anushasana Parva 98.8) "One should not hate anyone, even an enemy. Hatred only brings misery and suffering" (Mahabharata, Shanti Parva 52.10) "The greatest wealth is the wealth of wisdom, and the greatest poverty is the poverty of ignorance" (Mahabharata, Shanti Parva 148.14) These are only a handful of instances of Bhishma Pitamah's sage advice and lessons from the Mahabharata. Law of Nature gets it's power to influence from the lord. Lord Krishna is not bound by the laws of material nature like Karma. Jai shree krishna.

@@kundanagarwal2988 Yes, you are absolutely right, but it’s upon god that if he wants to experience Karma or not. For example, the person whose arrow hit Shri Krishna’s feet was the reincarnation of Vali because Shri Ram killed him in a kind of same way in 24th Treta Yug. So yes Parmatma are beyond laws of nature but if they are taking a human form then they have to follow the nature’s protocol. जय श्री राम जय श्री कृष्णा 🙏🏻♥️🕉️

@@atharvashamtupe7271I dont think that he was reincarnation of Vali, because Krishna said in Bg 15.6:That supreme abode of Mine is not illumined by the sun or moon, nor by fire or electricity. Those who reach it never return to this material world. Bali was killed in his Ram avatar and he left is body while having darshan of lord Rama. So he definitely reached saket Dham. And from there he cannot return to material world.

Bheeshma pitamah yani debavrat astha vasu mein se ek prabhas ke avatar the jinhe rig vedic age mein dyasus pitah bhi kaha jata tha jo subah ka chamakta hua akash ya akash ka devta kahe jate the. Inhi Akash ke devta ko mongolia mein Tengri kaha jata tha aur inhi Akash devta ke avatar khud mongol samrat Ghenghis Khan ya Changez Khan ko mana jata tha mongolia mein. Yani dekha jayein toh Dono deshon ki mythology combine karein toh Bheeshma Pitamaha ne hi dobara Ghenghis Khan ke Roop mein manav avatar dobara liya. Yeh ek azeeb baat hain magar saach hain.
