No doubt Physics is very important for ECE. But you can improve from basics in the time available before commencing of first year classes

Definitely some basics of physics are required to understand few subjects of ECE department. In first year B.Tech curriculum, all necessary basics will be covered or revised, hence you can choose ECE without any doubt. Dr Satish Kumar

Dear Student, Undoubtedly physics is important for ECE but you can improve a lot in the coming two months of the basics of physics in first year of B. Tech applied physics subject will be covered. If you are seriously interested in ECE please go ahead without a second thought.

Applied maths and physics play an important role in ECE branch , compared to any other branch . You can revise the basics in the coming two to three months . In B. Tech also u will have M1 & M2 , two papers of maths. required for your course . If u focus these subjects during semester course , it is sufficient .Definitely u may have some basic knowledge of Maths and physics, as on date . If u r really passionate about ECE and u r ready to work on Maths and Physics, go ahead . All the best

Try to do course in VEDA IIT on semi conductor design. U will have better opportunities.
