উজানের ঢলে নদ-নদীর পানি বাড়তে থাকায় কুড়িগ্রাম, গাইবান্ধা ও সিরাজগঞ্জে প্লাবিত হচ্ছে নতুন নতুন এলাকা। ৩ জেলায় পানিবন্দি প্রায় ৪ লাখ মানুষ। টাঙ্গাইলেও বাড়ছে বন্যার বিস্তৃতি। তবে, মঙ্গলবার থেকে নদ-নদীর পানি কমার পূর্বাভাস দিয়েছে পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড। এদিকে বন্যা দুর্গতদের আশ্রয়ের জন্য ১৮ জেলায় প্রায় তিন হাজার আশ্রয়কেন্দ্র খোলা হয়েছে। এসব আশ্রয়কেন্দ্রে ৪০ হাজার লোক আশ্রয় নিয়েছে। এ নিয়ে আরো বিস্তারিত জানাতে কুড়িগ্রাম থেকে আমাদের সঙ্গে যোগ দিচ্ছেন সহকর্মী হাসিবুর রহমান।
