0:00 min to 5:00 min One person is working. A son works in front of his father, a wife works in front of her husband. They work face-to-face, right in front of the other person. In the same exact manner, consider God and Mahapurush (divine associate of God who has all His powers) to be present in front of you. Then you will not commit offenses or sin. And it is a fact, I say. God is present eternally in Goloka, that's alright. But it is not imagination that God is present within us, too. He is noting down every idea of ours, and we want His Grace. If we hide something from Him, or plan to do other forms of trickery, then how will we ever attain His Grace? There is no scope for such trickery in that (spiritual/Godly) area. This is such a trivial point - this constant watchful presence of God and Guru in our lives - and no one is realizing it cent percent. Actually, to do only so much, is the real meaning of sharanagati, or complete surrender. That you have this feeling at all times - that They are with me, and They are noting down my ideas. If you had such a constant realization then, upon having the inclination to commit offenses or sin, you would sever the thought process immediately on your own. A mother, a father, a son, a husband, a wife, think ill of each other in their own house. "My wife is #@*" "My husband is #@*" "My son is #@*" "My father is #@*" "My neighbor is #@*" "My friend is #@*" He knows that the person he is thinking against cannot know his thought process and his ill feelings towards them. That's why his train of such negative thoughts goes on unobstructed. An example of such a thought process would be: 1. To envision faults in others (only by observing their external behavior) and 2. To be proud of one's own self (ego). I say, this feeling of privacy that a person has is the cause of his doom, and is destroying the future of the soul. If he, however, realizes that God is watching at all times - regardless of whether he has come in contact with a Mahapurush or not - that God, seated in the hearts of all living beings, notes the ideas of each one of them, every second, and that this is fact; then all that has to be achieved, will be achieved. Whether this happens in 1 month, or 1 year, or 10 years, it must be done. The extent of one's positive self-transformation is dependent on the intensity and duration of this realization. You know that children study under the vigilance of their father. Now, if their father sleeps, the children will become careless. There are two principles in this regard. The person, or the soul, can achieve positive self-transformation in two ways: 1. naturally and 2. through fear. Today, the civility we see in the world - the poor and the rich travelling on the same road; millionaires as well as poor merchants sitting at their respective shops on the same street and doing their respective work without any problem - is due to fear. If, for 24 hours, the Government of India, or that of any other country, were to announce that, for the next 24 hours, no cases will be filed or punishment be given for any criminal activity, then you cannot imagine how little of the country's population will be left alive. The shops and the houses will be decimated. So, a lot is wrong on the inside, but due to fear, just see how smoothly this world is running. The bank is where transactions of tens of millions of dollars take place daily. Millions of dollars are coming in and going out. A poor man is standing in the bank; he is hungry since many days. In spite of that, he cannot do anything. Even if he extends his hand to steal, who knows, he might get caught. So, this fear is such a big deal that despite being absent, the quality of humanity is seen to be present in us. It is not present within - where it should be - but it is there outside (in our external behaviour). That's why the world is running. *quotes vedic verse* In the same way, if we adopt the fear of God's Presence, and realize that He is always present everywhere, then there is no need for any other spiritual practices for God realization.
