ਆਸਾ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥ aasaa mehlaa 5. आसा महला ५ ॥ Aasaa, Fifth Mehl: ਆਸਾ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ। आसा फौवटती पेटशाही ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥ charan kamal kee aas pi-aaray. चरन कमल की आस पिआरे ॥ I long for the Lotus Feet of my Beloved Lord. ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਵਲ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੱਧਰ ਹੈ। मेरा दिल प्यारे के कमल पैरों में है ਜਮਕੰਕਰ ਨਸਿ ਗਏ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ॥੧॥ jamkankar nas ga-ay vichaaray. ||1|| जमकंकर नसि गए विचारे ॥१॥ The wretched Messenger of Death has run away from me. ||1|| ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਦੂਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਗਏ ਹਨ। मौत के गरीब स्वर्गदूत मुझ से भाग गए हैं ਤੂ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਮਇਆ ॥ too chit aavahi tayree ma-i-aa. तू चिति आवहि तेरी मइआ ॥ You enter into my mind, by Your Kind Mercy. ਤੇਰੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਸਦਕਾ, ਹੇ ਸਾਹਿਬ! ਤੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। आपकी कृपा से, हे भगवान! आपको याद किया जाता है। ਸਿਮਰਤ ਨਾਮ ਸਗਲ ਰੋਗ ਖਇਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ simrat naam sagal rog kha-i-aa. ||1|| rahaa-o. सिमरत नाम सगल रोग खइआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥ Meditating on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, all diseases are destroyed. ||1||Pause|| ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਠਹਿਰਾਉ। भगवान के नाम पर ध्यान करके, सभी बीमारियां नष्ट हो जाती हैं। रोकें। ਅਨਿਕ ਦੂਖ ਦੇਵਹਿ ਅਵਰਾ ਕਉ ॥ anik dookh dayveh avraa ka-o. अनिक दूख देवहि अवरा कउ ॥ Death gives so much pain to others, ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਫਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਣਾ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, मृत्यु के दूत दूसरों को सताया करते थे, ਪਹੁਚਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਹਿ ਜਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਕਉ ॥੨॥ pahuch na saakeh jan tayray ka-o. ||2|| पहुचि न साकहि जन तेरे कउ ॥२॥ but it cannot even come near Your slave. ||2|| ਪਰ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੋਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ, ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! परन्तु वह तेरे दास को भी नहीं देख सकता, हे यहोवा! ਦਰਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੀ ਪਿਆਸ ਮਨਿ ਲਾਗੀ ॥ daras tayray kee pi-aas man laagee. दरस तेरे की पिआस मनि लागी ॥ My mind thirsts for Your Vision; ਮੇਰੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੈਡੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦੀ ਤੇਹ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, मेरी आत्मा आपकी आंखों से चिपक रही है, ਸਹਜ ਅਨੰਦ ਬਸੈ ਬੈਰਾਗੀ ॥੩॥ sahj anand basai bairaagee. ||3|| सहज अनंद बसै बैरागी ॥३॥ in peaceful ease and bliss, I dwell in detachment. ||3|| ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਿੱਜ ਉਹ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ। इसलिए, वह इतना प्यार में अवशोषित है, वह शांति और आनंद में रहता है। ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ਸੁਣੀਜੈ ॥ naanak kee ardaas suneejai. नानक की अरदासि सुणीजै ॥ Hear this prayer of Nanak: ਹੇ ਸਾਈਂ! ਤੂੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਸੁਣ। हे भगवान! नानक की प्रार्थना सुनें ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮੁ ਰਿਦੇ ਮਹਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥੪॥੨੬॥੭੭॥ kayval naam riday meh deejai. ||4||26||77|| केवल नामु रिदे महि दीजै ॥४॥२६॥७७॥ please, infuse Your Name into his heart. ||4||26||77|| ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸਿਰਫ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰਮਾ ਦੇ। उनके हर्ष में, केवल आपका नाम राम है।
