Not only percept but practice is very necessary. Getting knowledge of path is fruitless if the traveller does not put a step forward and start journey. Only by talking we cannot reach the abode of beloved lord. Consultation with doctor is not sufficient if patient does not use medicine with prevention prescribed. etc. Put into practice what knowledge you have obtained from guru guide vaid or holy books. I have found this while searching for meaning, some gurumukh has shared this for all : The literal meaning of this is; How can the traveller( so called sikh) who asks the guides(gurmukhs/or even satguru ji himself) the way (of sikhi/gurmukh jeevan) , but doesn't take a step on that route, ..how can you ever reach that destination by just asking(or just keep doing paath). How can the patient ,who consults the doctor, but does not take the medication or follow advice given. then how can you get better. How can a loving wife (or even so called gursikhs) ask other wifes about true love ... others loving relationships... (just like gursikhs pretending to be all gurmukh, like me, discussing sikhi. when we are full of filth,duality ,superstitions, go and see pandits, doing things which our husband/satguru doesn't approve of ;0)..). How can the husband love his wife whos actions are not worthy of her being a wife. same is the statement that how can the sikh ,who listens and sings kirtan, even with eyes closed and swaying as if absorbed in naam ;0))) ,hypocrites. how can they acheive/be graced with gurmukh jeeven/sikhi, unless they follow( deeds/action, not just inside;0)) and practice gursikhya.with devotion............ dass, bhul chuk muaf gravesend,u.k
