The world renowned Prof. Robert Lanza, described as one of 3 most brilliant in the world today, has described a NEW CONCEPT called Biocentrism ! But the Buddha described it in a better way over 2500 years ago. Ven. Dr. Punnaji has been lecturing on this for decades,from the Suttas. Thathagatha is the name given to the Buddha. Thathagatha samma sambudhu rajano. Thathagatha means " Arrived at that ". It means " Thath twam asi " which means that I am. Or I am that. That means that " consciousness precedes really OR that consciousness creates the external world." Prof. Robert is saying the same thing as Biocentrism. It is interesting to compare their views and can be obtained from the internet. Ven. Dr. Punnaji is the best in the world to hear the original Teaching of the Dhamma. ENJOY. sarath seneviratne.

If you liked Biocentrism (I take it you read the book), you should get your hands on a copy of Beyond Biocentrism also if you haven't already done so. The two books combined with Bhante Punnaji's interpretation of the Dhamma take you right to the edge of this whole illusion that we call life and have you wondering why we can't simply just "wake up"! No shortage of meditative/contemplative material here! Mind-blowing stuff, and we owe such a huge debt to Bhante for bringing the Buddha's teachings into the 21st century where it can also be verified by scientific geniuses like Dr. Lanza.

Has bhante gave english translation of the Mulapariyaya Sutta?

This is a wonderful discourse by Bhante, as always. But having accepted long ago that the traditional translation of vinnana as consciousness was not correct, Bhante is very specific on this point in all of his talks that the correct meaning is perception, I am bewildered in this talk where at the 40 minute mark on the subject of the four nutriments, he says that "another form of food is consciousness itself - vinnana". So is vinnana consciousness or perception, and if it is perception - what is the Pali word for consciousness?
