Shree Ram was also ready for talks.. But what Ravan did? Lit Hanuman's tail on fire.. so what do you expect to happen? What would you do, if someone kidnapped your wife and forced and torchered her to marry him everyday Coming to Mahabharata.. A lady who was also the to be empress of the greatest kingdom, was insulted in the royal court.. In front of all the elders, seniors, her 100 brother in laws, in front of all them.. a attempt to disrobe her was made... She cried and requested King Dhritrashra, to save her, but the king blind in the love for his son, ignored her tears... It was only when Krishna intervened, that she was safe.. Even after that Pandavas requested Krishna, to try for peace talks ones.. what happened? They insulted even Krishna in the royal court.. In both the cases neither Shree Ram, not Pandavas started the war... War is an integral part of nature.. The point is the cause of it... and I don't see any wrong cause here.. what was Shree Ram supposed to do? Leave his wife there? or what were Pandavas supposed to do? Let thier wife remain like that? Atleast they didn't go among innocents, who had nothing to do with the war and exploded themselves.. neither they made the wives, sisters or daughters of thier enemy as sex slaves... The wives of Kauravas, still enjoyed Royal status even after the war, and they were given more care and love than the wives of Pandavas themselves.... same with Ravan's wives.. although I agree, there is no data about Mandodari... some related datas say, she left the palace and went for penace.. but rest all the ladies were given utmost care and love.. and every try was made to heal thier broken hearts.. Krishna even took curse for the same.. what more peace do you want?

Weapons? cities? archaeological surveys? surveys of Kurukshetra ground, where they find weapons till date 🤔... Just a few months back(maybe one or 2 months back) more weapons like swords, axes, etc were found.. and initial surveys say, they are atleast 6000-7000 years old.. maybe more, but they need to do carbon dating for it.. please research a bit before you speak..
