This song portrays 3 variations of Sakthi. 1. Sati - the one who sacrifices her life for Lord Siva (pournami character of Trisha in this movie sacrifices her life for Siva kesava) 2. Parvati - the one who gets united with the Lord (Chandrakala character played by Charmi unites with Siva kesava) 3. Maha kali - the one who steps on Lord Siva and realises her mistake (When chandrakala steps on Sivakesava she realises that and has tears in her eyes) It is the depiction of Siva-Sakthi in a complete sense

No, performing dance is a ritual but the glasses it was by the villan to spoil the ceremony but still prabhas saved her.

There is something called yagnam like firing all dried leaves and woods for days and months this scientifically creates low pressure at drought areas so that it attracts moist air around the place therefore it leads it rainfall , we celebrate it as a ritual , festival what ever it may be

If you still haven't watched the movie, I want you to watch it right away because Sunil Ji You are Indian and I guess you are from Andhra, I want you to watch such a good Telugu movie. I looooooooovee this movie- Pournami. Very emotional and lovely story. I have already watched it like 100 times and I still watch it whenever I feel like watching it. Especially the songs in this movie are fabulous and this Baratha vedhamuga song gives me a vibe, I can literally feel vibrations in my body and goosebumps

That glasses part is not part of the ritual. It is done by enemies to stop the ritual.

Neither kuchipudi nor Bharatanatyam, it's Andhra nrithyam which is similar to kuchipudi and bharatanatyam.
