To His Coy Mistress / Andrew Marvell / in Tamil/ Bharath Ravindran. Bharath Academy. This poem says that untimely coyness is a painful irrelevance those who seek its joyous fulfillment. If they had enough time, he would not have find fault with her excessive modesty or coyness. He says that he would have started to lover her ten years before the Great Flood which is mentioned in the Bible. The poet's vegetable love will grow faster than empires. If he had enough time, he would spend atleast an age to praise each of her limbs. He says mournfully that the grave is an excellent private place to embrace. The poet says that they should use all their energy to enjoy the pleasures of sex without minding of the obstacles. They lack the power to ring time to stand still, but they can quicken the speed of time.
