Must be in his younger years. May be in 50s. Brilliantly sung 😍. Sounds like Pt. Kumar Gandharva though

Its very hard for a listener (non expert) to grab the changes in raags, particularly fast transitions in Taans. Only someone like Panditji can dare to sing this raag, give equal weitage to both the constituents raags and most importantly make the listner enjoy. Hats off to the maestro!!

I used to think Hindol Bahar is tough, being a combination of two ragas. But after hearing Bageshree Bahar, Hindol Bahar seems more agreeable to the ears since Hindol and Bahar individually have very different Swars and the transition from one raag to another can be distinguished easily. Bageshree Bahar is realy tough to even hear, leave aside singing. Both the raags have similar notes, notably Komal ga, Komal Ni.

@Abhijit Kaore very rightly said .. to understand that during avorah how bahar is coming ie Sa ni pa ma pa ga ma re sa and during aaroh bageshri predominatly.. is quite challenging.. panditji is great....
