I've heard a lot of Bhojpuri songs from across the Girmit diaspora: Trinidad, South Africa, Suriname etc. But musically this song sounds different. Reminds me of the Garba songs sung by my fellow Gujaratis

The music tune is from the Sega. The words are Bhojpuri with many Creole words. This is an innovative mix of Sega and Bhojpuri folk singing dating from the late 1980s when Bhojpuri was dying as a language in Mauritius.

I'm very sorry but my ancestors would be turning in their Graves... my maternal family stem from Afro-european descent... I am appalled. This music is not sega... its music from puristic Indian origin. The only Sega is the percussion... everything else is just Bollywood. I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder... but let this style return back to whence it came and let true Sega reign... God bless

no disrespect intended, but no one said said it was sega,follore and you need to learn the art of music.this is not even close to bollywood as you wil call it. its inheritance as the beauty is in the eye of the beholder but also the ears. no nee for any disagreement as it is a matter of choice. as a nation .you have a choice as an individual.
