Is it possible to travel to Bhutan without a guide? And can we book guide after reaching to Thimphu Or phuentsholing?

You can enter Phuentsholing without guide. But to travel to other places, guide is mandatory. You can contact Mr. Pem - +97577 40 77 12 for more details. ( He was our guide and was very good and helpful)

Hi, thanks for watching the video and hope it was useful in your planning the trip. SDF charges for kids under 5 year is not there. Guide charges will vary based on the group size and starts around 2000/- (local currency ngultrum). Hope this helps.

Bhutan has a policy of requiring all tourists to have a pre-arranged package tour with a licensed Bhutanese tour operator. When you plan to visit Bhutan, you typically need to go through a licensed tour operator, and they will help arrange your itinerary, guide, transportation, accommodation, and other services. They will also help you obtain the necessary travel permits. You cannot enter Bhutan as an independent traveler without a pre-arranged tour. You can contact any travel agency or I can share number of our guide in Bhutan.(if you want) You can ask all the necessary details from him. Thank you

We took package from make my trip. So they booked the guide for us. But you can also directly book guide. You can contact Mr. Pem (+97577407712). He was our guide and was very helpful and kind person. Thank you 😊

Yes we took the package from makemytrip. But you can book from Bhutanese local tour operator it will be cheaper for you I guess.

Local tour operator how? Actually I've looked for a tour package at so many sites and they are extremely expensive. Do you know as to how I can get in touch with any Bhutanese tour operator?
