It's eye opening for me, never thought Butia's culture and language are 95% or more similar to Bhutanese. Love from Bhutan.

Bhutia language more or less sounds like language that people of western Bhutan(Parops-people of Paro) speaks. Wonderful movie, appreciate the use of Bhutai costumes and dress in the movie, these right track to keep Bhutai culture alive. Donot forget your culture, keep it alive.... The movie is wonderful, keep up the beautiful work. I always wish Sikkim was beautiful Himalayan Kingdom to these dates and I am in love with Bhutia girl for over 9 years now after I met her 9 year back while i was pursuing my university degree at Sikkim as a foreign student. 🇧🇹🇧🇹🇧🇹

I was looking for a very long time and finally here dang! And today I ruined all my morning rituals and hook up with content. Anyways it was not a loss for me. Good storytelling, superb dialogue, cinematography, acting etc etc Continue with good work and keep it real😊 I wish for good luck and reach the height 😊 Much love and support ❤🌼🙏🏻

As an Indian, my father was posted in Bhutan in late 70 early 80s...used to speak perfect Bhutanese....but all forgotten now. Liked this movie...simple and enjoyable.

Omg this movie was such an emotional Rollercoaster 😭😭 Kudos to the actors and the production team... My personal favorite is Yangchen...she has portrayed the role so perfectly..... keep going 🥺😍❤

From movie point of view, it had all the ingredients to charm the audience - great direction, excellent acting, a beautiful song, wonderful location and a heart touching story. It touches the heart and soul of the audience, young and old alike. My 70 year old aunt loved it as much as we did. All the actors leave a mark with their performance, be it the actress who portrayed the role of Yangchen, or her lover, Samphel, or Pintso, Aku Pao or the antagonist, Achu Bakhra. That was from cinema point of view. From a Sikkimese point of view, who has been wary of the fact that Lhokay is an endangered language, movie such as this provides enough confidence that our language is reviving. Namshi will be relatable to our younger generation and that's where Lhokay needs to bloom. At last, my heart swells with pride that many lhopos came together and made this great movie. Your contribution will never be forgotten. I wish that more Lhopos from all walks of life come together and make many more such movies that promotes our language, culture and tradition. Thuchi che for Namshi. Wish you all prosperity in life. May our language live forever.

While watching i thought I was watching Bhutanese video but after few minutes i noticed the difference 😂 It sound similar like our national language dzongkha. 🇧🇹🇧🇹 I can understand upto 80% percent without subtitles. Great movie ❤️
