I always enjoy seeing the prices in other countries. Misery loves company, eh. LOL. I'm American and that's the first time I've said ,"eh". Also, thanks for the tip on using vinegar in the dishwasher. That will help with our minerals. I never thought of that.

That was a nice price on the vinegar. Right now I am making an estimated calculation for some foods I need to pick up this weekend.

I use vinegar in my washing machine. It replaces fabric softener and dryer sheets. Great hall

I don't even use it in the washer anymore! I use my homemade laundry soap and put it on deep clean and extra rinse. After not using Fabric softener or dryer sheets for a couple of months..I found nothing was needed.

Petrol /gas in Tasmania is $2.36 L. I put $40 in yesterday and it was like someone had just spat in the tank. Prices of everything is becoming a joke. Its a good thing i know how to ride a horse, it could become my lawn mower and my transport lol.

Your prices always astound me.... I got a lot of splurge this week and spent $121 USD. 3lbs tri tip steak, 3lbs bacon, 3lb 80/20 ground beef, Hebrew national hot dogs, 5 bags of chips, 5 2L soda, 1 12pk soda, 5 large poweraid drinks, 5 crystal light drink mix boxes, a chocolate Creme pie, 2 zucchini, 2 broccoli, 5 large avacados, 3lbs cara cara oranges, 2lbs bing cherries, 5 knorr rice sides, 2 4pk energy drinks (for my brother at work), 2 packs of makeup remover wipes, 38ct quart freezer bags, honey mustard, and 1 quart half and half. Everything was on sale/digital coupon except the half and half. The chips and drinks are our summer stock up for get-togethers or bbqs. We get our milk, bread, and some other staples from a food rescue I volunteer at.

I enjoy seeing the shopping videos and their associated costs. I'm an expat living in the Caribbean and it reassures me , sometimes, that things aren't upside here, price wise. Granted, we pay in Euro, so it's 40% more when using the Cdn dollar but some places give a break and charge in US , so it's only 30% more. Gas here is 1.30 euro a liter. Last year at this time it was 1.39, so not so bad.

Is that like $6 a gallon? Saturday I paid $3.99 for BP premium.... and I was whining... Groceries and paper products are insane. I paid $2.38 a gallon for 2% milk tonight, but geez cereal was like $6 a box 🤯

Still all in all you were able to buy what you needed. If not for Howie working where milk is cheaper you'd be paying that higher price then you'd have to think at least Howie is buying gas for work. Oh one day. God Bless 🙏❤️🙏

Not good, not bad. It's nice when you have a week that you don't need as much. I use vinegar all the time! With my dawn and for cleaning and cooking! That was a deal on the vinegar! It's averaging about $2.89 a gallon right now. I know I've got to get back into the habit of eating and buying more fresh fruit and veggies! I quit buying last year because the produce was so poor in quality! If you didn't use it the day you got it, it went bad! It's looking better again so I'll start buying again. I miss fresh broccoli and cauliflower and peppers and my fruit! I'm sick of frozen or canned!

WOW...Butter at 6.99 per lb. I cringe paying 4.69 per lb. In our house there are 2 adults and 2 big dogs. Weekly shopping bill is on average 250 to 300 dollars. This includes fresh produce to cook n eat....or dehydrate...includes smokes...and adult beverages. So sorry your prices are that high. Groceries used to be under 75.00 per week. Now it is average 115 dollars to 130 dollars. I get d/food at a family dollar or general dollar store....along with pantry food and p/plates....etc. I have to buy 2 specific brand named things weekly: Pepsi and Thomas's English muffins. These are pricey in the states. E/muff. 4.29 dollars per pckge. Pepsi gets farted in price EVERY WEEK. On sale...a 2 liter is under 1.70; not on sale...it is 2.79. I normally only cook 1 meal...maybe 2 on the weekends....he is a truck driver and lives on lunchmeat during the week. Food prices make it very tough to stick to a budget. Deli meat was the first I noticed shooting up over a year ago. 4 bucks per lb. Of Sara Lee ham was too much...now 8 to 10 dollars per lb. is "normal".

I have found that if I can chicken breasts in 1/4 pint jars. I can bulk it up with mayoi, onions and hem hearts to make Howie two sandwhiches for lunch. But it is getting boneless skinless chicken breasts for canning that is difficult!
