A pioneering collaboration between Bia Analytical, and Queen’s University Belfast is revolutionising the food industry. Integrating cutting-edge techniques from statistics, machine learning, and computer science, this Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) has enabled the company to create advanced solutions that allow clients to conduct their own on-site tests of food samples, eliminating the need to send samples to a central lab. These innovative methods deliver rapid and precise identification of whether products are authentic or adulterated, significantly enhancing food safety and consumer confidence.
