The absolute BEST performer out there today (not just drag queens, but everything) is Bianca Del Rio. Funny, sharp, witty, brassy, soft, sassy, brave, gifted, real, fake, clownish, dead serious, and a total joke delivered with moxie. She can hold her own in a reality contest, on the stage of the Castro Theater or in a dive bar with a bunch of drunk stupid kids. BDR is everything! A juggernaut, a whirlwind a disorienting double loop coaster. She's a brighter star than Barbra, sassier than Joan and more of a lush than Liza. BDR You Are The Best! (sorry Hedda Lettuce, but your salad needs some tossin' these days and your leaves are getting brown :/).

I love this bar but it is so small that if you push your chair back, four people fall out of the front door. Last show I saw there, I had to stand on the deck and have someone inside Skype me so I could watch it on my phone.
