What a truly great video of dad and BiBi collecting the eel traps. BiBi was a little unsure 🤔 of the eels to start with but became braver as he saw more of them. So much so that he let one out of the trap and then picked it up on his own and put it in the bowl. A truly brave boy. He even managed to find one of the traps for dad. They must have had a wonderful time together. I got so engrossed in the video that I felt like I was there with them, thank you cameraman for making it so. BiBi is always good at finding little creatures, he found the tiny bird and wouldn't leave until dad picked it up, such a kind, caring little boy he is. Man, Quan, you have a gift. Not just with BiBi, but I think it’s with animals, in general. I’ve seen how smart macaques are, how Stump-tailed/Bear macaques, specifically, are eager to please, learn, mimic, and figure out how things work (which is great for research purposes, though I’d imagine in a home, that can get very tricky! Lol) … but the training BiBi has gotten is truly phenomenal. Your relationship with BiBi has blossomed over the last year; more specifically, the past six months. BiBi doesn’t chatter as often, seeking approval, and I think that speaks a lot of your character and how well you treat him. You’re doing a great job with BiBi, Quan. The attention and fondness you pour into BiBi’s life has given him opportunities he never would’ve had in the wild… now, be that good or bad, I’m not judging you. I see BiBi’s growth, responses towards you, and even his independence to do things he wants to do. And all that to say, I hope BiBi continues to thrive and that you both keep growing in your bond. It’s truly something special. ❤🐵❤️ And of course, he’s just the most adorable little helper!
