Bibi isn't smarter than most 6yr olds. Bibi might be smarter than other domesticated monkeys. Bibi is just more willfull and ballsy. Children are taught to ask mom or dad for whatever they want/need, not just take. Bibi prefers not to learn that lesson as we have seen Dad and Lan Ahn repeat a multitude of times. @@WendyWilmshurst - He can't redeem himself in my book. He's done too much damage to the relationship between BiBi and himself. I am seeing BiBi slowly turn his affections more towards mom than dad lately, and rightly so. Mom is the one who interacts with BiBi the most and her love for BiBi is genuine. Dad just puts in an appearance to stay relevant to the narrative. I noticed this since Christmas, when dad showed up at the farm with those girls and that stupid billiards toy. BiBi was hurt beyond repair because he wanted dad - only dad - and he knew dad was not genuine. (Animals "know" these things.) I don't see BiBi as a monkey anymore. I see a little boy, now, whose little heart was stomped on too many times and my heart hurts for him. Incidentally, when mom and dad did that after-Christmas speech (or after-New Year speech, I forget which), mom was very quiet and dad was very evasive. He said his English isn't very good, but the old saying is true - actions speak louder than words. He acted very shifty and hung onto BiBi as if that would make him seem more believable. Poor little BiBi kept squirming, trying to get away and go to mom, but dad kept a tight grip on BiBi. That said a lot to me, then he mentioned something about a new family member... That hit me like a punch in the gut. I think dad now has a son - a real, human son - and now considers BiBi a nuisance, A MONEY-MAKING NUISANCE. People don't see it because they are so focused on BiBi they can't see anything else. And, they are so snowed, they send money and gifts!!! I wonder if anybody else feels like me. Thank you to @margarethunter4337 and @WendyWilmshurst for seeing a bit more than what's in the video...

My family has long considered Bibi as a member of our family and will try to take good care of Bibi.
