Bibim Korea - I have a question and suggestion?! WHY is this video not subtitled in Korean as well? Who exactly is your target audience? I will give you the benefit of the doubt but I still feel this is just to increase views from the Indian market for obvious reasons. If you really mean to raise awareness about India in South Korea, then this video should have Korean subtitles. Piyusha did a great job.

India and South Korea are so vastly different in culture that it’s difficult to believe that the two countries are a part of the same continent! This was a very well done interview from both of you. Good work!

About Mumbai and Delhi!! It's so true. I live in Delhi, I cannot stay late outside after 11:30 pm. But, visited mumbai in 2022, I couldn't believe, I was with my family, people were walking with their friends and family without fear late at night. Wow. You can walk freely(late night) in ahmedabad, gurugram and bengaluru too.

As a resident of Mumbai India, who has travelled to other well known cities of the world…NYC, LA, London, Auckland…I have to say that Mumbai definitely compares to them…yes it’s expensive to live here as well as is the business city vibe it has, crowds & bustle, cleanliness etc. but I’ve never struggled to travel here…you have transportation of all kinds that’ll take you everywhere & to suit every pocket, the same goes for cuisine, grocery’s, clothing…everything. So I guess it depends on where in India you live. Out of curiosity I once googled the base price of housing in the Gangnam area of South Korea & it prompted that it started at $60,000/-…and upwards; converted to INR that’s about ₹5 to ₹6 lakh…which seemed reasonable in comparison to where I stay..which isn’t even downtown Mumbai & the basic 1bhk prices here are still close to a crore. So I think it’s all relative

Disagree with the individualistic part about india. All asian countries are collectivistic in nature. Arranged marriage, religion, culture custom all comes in collectivist cultures. Log kya kahenge is the core aim. So india is a collectivisitic country with few metros and urban cloud adopting individualistic homes

I'm Indian who got immersed into Japanese from young age through anime and learnt it to a dedrnt level... and now got into Kdramas and started to learn Korean. IMHO, Learning to speak Korean is one thing but getting the accent right is the most difficult and challenging part and she nailed it!!! Especially Korean even though it's phonetic, the cadence and pace are so fast with lot of pure consonants in so frequently... that it's difficult just to pick up the sounds while listening... Let alone repeat them. Great job!!! And I wish I could get such a level of accent in either Japanese or Korean in future... And The "sou desu ne!" at the end was the best!! It tittilated Japanese half of my brain...

Being an Indian, i would like to highlight the fact that in many parts of India like from the northern part ,don't consider the northeast people to be an Indian. There's a discrimination still going on. Northeast people are either called "Chinese" or "Korean" because of the facial features. So I think beauty standards in India is also rigid.

확실히 공감하는 것이 인도에서는 누구나 꺼리낌없이 뭔가를 요구하더군요 마치 자기 가족이라도 되는거마냥 길거리에서 만나는 대부분의 인도인들은 치근덕거리고 뭔가를 자꾸 요구하더군요. 그런데, 문제는 외국인 입장에서 너무 일방적으로 요구만 당한다는 점이죠.

Yeah marine drive is a pretty safe area. A lot of my friends would travel there in 1 or 2 AM but yes what she says is true- it depends on the location here in India. Some areas can be very bad, some a bit ok-ish (as in you don't wanna go out after like 9-10 PM or so) & some pretty safer like marine drives so yes. This is again because of our development (both in education & justice system) but it will change slowly.

Korean pronunciation probably is quite similar to most of the Indian languages... so maybe that is the reason she is able to speak like "Korean speaking Korean"... Chinese, Japanese, or even Thai pronunciations are a bit different... so Indians can adapt to the Korean language quite well... I think so

She's just from one part of india (while india's each part is different & diverse in everyway) & that too metropolitan, hugely developed urban region..so the youth there r more influenced from west, inclined to individualistic as west but That's not true for whole/majority of india, What's true is that Yeah we r very welcoming & inclusive of others since ancient times due to being pluralistic, diverse society & heterogenous nation ourselves from always Unlike Skorea (that's why we got invaded by multiple Outsider islamic invaders & british colonizers for past 100 centuries who all took advantage of this open-hearted, welcoming, accepting, tolerating & making others inclusive with us Nature/culture of indians) But at same time Our society have that sense of community & collectiveness aka it's collectivistic, promotes social cohesion and interdependence since ancient times as well while still kind of valuing the individualism of one to some extent. & Btw, In my state in india We use "our, us, ours, we" in almost sentences for saying things in our language too (but this culture of our language gradually fading due to influence of those so call modern/developed societies & youth of modern metropolitan cities of few state or them teasing our ppl for this when we go there) but we r very inclusive of others with us, still holds sense of community/collectiveness too while somehow manage to value induvidualistic to some extent within the collectivist sense of community as well and This is true for all India overall.
