I never knew the story of Judith it is short video but i learned a lot from her story and her character. God showed me this moment that i need to have a character just like her because of my certain difficulties right now. Thanks for the short but brief video about her.

Have you not read your entire Holy Bible, from cover to cover, yet? Might I suggest you start tonight? Do not skip _any_ part. Read it as if it were a novel, you will be shocked at what you'll learn about _everything._ Things we only thought we knew. Others we've heard are completely wrong! _We_ have the power to educate _ourselves_ about our faith. Why only a few hundred years ago owning &/or just being able to read our very own copy of _any_ version of the Bible was impossible! We really need to stop relying on others to read the Bible _to us._ We're missing out on the actual context of every story as we don't really know what was said, or done, _before!_ We need to stop relying on others interpretations of _our_ faith! Because, all of the others _don't start at the beginning!_ People tend to always start somewhere in the middle, to save time? But in doing so WE miss out on the full picture! We _actually_ miss out on most if not all of the _true context_ in its entirety! It's time we stop digging around for other people's ideas on what _our_ system of belief honestly _is._ We're grown adults that own our very own copy of the Bible, right? Let's start shaping our own, for ourselves! Read the _full_ story as to what our faith _is_ about & for. Until we dive in head 1st & read what _is_ written, we'll never really be certain at all. Trust me, it's a roller coaster of epic emotions & lessons from history. Enjoy! 🤗💕💕💕

@@Digitalhunny The book of Judith is not available in the protestant Bibles, only in the Catholic and Orthodox ones, so a lot of people don't know her story

My last name is Judit (in my culture the first name is the family name). I was named like this after my late grandmother. She actually looked similar to the depictions used in this video.

It is because the King is Nabucnasor, a Babyloniam king of Assrya ? Futhermore, it passes right in the moment after the return from the exile, and it was Persia the main power in the region, not Assrya, the Assyrians came from the Persians.

@@vitorfaster3577 You are basing that off of the Greek manuscripts. The Vulgate version is substantially different because Jerome used an Aramaic manuscript.

It’s also fictional because of her name, "Judith” which means Lady Jew or Jewess. Her husband’s name is “manessah” or “to forget,” because he’s not important to the story. But yes, most importantly, Nebuchadnezzar was king of Babylon, not Assyria. This would be like if I told you my story takes place when “king Adolph Hitler ruled over the Soviet Union.”
