Yeah. It took me like 3 years to get up the guts to change some ribbons. Lol. Now that I’ve done a few of course I have to keep myself from doing them all hahahaha

I recently did this with my NLT Life Application Study Bible. I added a light blue ribbon to it and it went pretty well for me, besides the fact that it's just a little too short (I free-handed it).

Bless you but no I almost had a heart attack just watching you do it, ! and I am horrible at stuff like this so no not going to risk it. I know you said not to use bookmarks in your Bible, but it would be far is safer for me to use a bookmark than to try to do this and completely destroy it. Kudos to those of you who can.

What brand of satin ribbon lay flat/floppy like the ones in the bibles in the beginning of the video ?Thank you for your time

Berisfords are considered the standard, but I use Ribbon Bazaar and I’m very happy with them. Berisfords are expensive, and difficult to order in multiple colors. They actually ship from London and are sold by length.

Why singe polyester? It won’t fray anyway. (I’m the daughter of a professional seamstress.)

I have first hand experience that they need to be singed or they will fray.

@@anickelsworthbiblereviews It must not be the polyester I know, but then again, my mother always bought the best fabric. She made all of my clothes. I still wear a lot of polyester because it dries easily & never wrinkles. They have truly improved polyester over the years, though it’s possible they haven’t improved polyester ribbons. Or could it be that those ribbons are acrylic?
