I have a prodigal daughter, who, when she first realized she could sing this was the song she saying over and over and over again. Please, someone pray for my daughter to want to sing this song again from her heart, and come back to her Lord and Savior and the mother, who loves her so very very much!!!

These beautiful hymns aren’t sung today. It’s ashame they aren’t.

Church like it was when I was growing up - multigenerational, solid, real. Truly AUTHENTIC. Even if we were poor, we put on our best clothes to go to church because we were going to worship the Creator of the universe! Respect. Church was different from the world - and how wonderful it was!

Wonderful seeing this church so full and singing this Truth so powerfully, it must be a Church where the Truth is still being preached ❤

I would much rather be singing these "old" hymns than listening to a soloist sing the current evangelical praise song! The hymn singing from this church was exceptional.

I pray every church in the UK would be full and with true Christian’s singing these amazing hymns. One day lord Jesus, one day. In the meantime we have to put on our armour and pray. Our weapons of warfare are not machines, they are our hands clasped together in prayer or raised to the lord our saviour while singing these amazing songs. Thank you Jesus for your grace and mercy, I know you hear us, we will make it if we truly believe. So come on, stand up Christian soldiers to the tyranny that is happening to us at the moment. God please weed out those in charge of the churches who are letting despicable things happen, they are the the wolves in sheep’s clothing. People please read up on scripture and you will feel that old rugged cross in your heart. I don’t care if you are the worst sinner in the world, you will never be the same once you have Jesus in your heart and mind. Who else would stand by you during your worst moments, for me it was very few, many turned their backs on me, but Jesus was always by my side, even carrying me through my darkest moments. Come into contact with him and you will never be the same again. I pray for all my Christian sisters and brothers around the world. One day peace will come, in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen. 🙏

Wow!!! I grew up hearing this song and it automatically became one of my most favourite gospel song. Back in my island, some churches only play or sing "Old Rugged Cross" at funerals but thank God that in the church I attend, it is sung or played on Communion Sundays as well.
