You see, those stories regarding the turning of Lot's wife into Salt are not credible, it never happened. It appears also that Avraham does not understand the concept of Satan ; he thinks, as the christian thinks , that Satan is some individual person like human beings walking on the earth from one place to another, deceiving human beings etc . Satan refers to the negative instincts ingrained in man and urges him towards doing acts that runs contrary to the wishes of God, just as there is also an angelic instinct that urges man to do good. Man is free to obey the angelic instincts or the satanic instincts according to his own will. If you obey the satanic instincts up to a certain point, then you are refered to as a satanic being, and when you on the other hand obey the angelic instincts, you are refered to as a godly being. Sadly Avraham is making much noise on social because he lacks the true understanding of some of the terms in the Bible and has consequently branded many of the verses in the Bible as useless whereas the fault is actually due to his own lack of understanding of the verses which are couched figuratively rather than literally.
