I really like BICs pens, like most of the time they draw real smooth and i like the range of colours

cis also make oil pastels, they are not expensive and they work pretty well, can layer , blend , and have pigment, but clump a lot. still pretty good for the price you pay for them.

These reviews are so helpful!!! If you ever want to try *even more* I would love to hear what you think about the Paul Rubens oil pastels. These will be my next 'art purchase'. They are cheaper than the Mungyo's here in Europe, and they seem to be slightly softer!

Honestly, I kinda like how you can see the layers of color, especially on the sides of the bridge of the nose. I feel like it adds a cool textured effect when you scribble each color in a different direction.

For so long, I’ve been looking for oil pastels similar to the ones we used in college- they were super slender & also on the drier side..they were probably cheapish..but I loved them.

1. IM EARLYYSVSNSNSBGHHY! 2. I liked the pastels that you tried but I do agree the layering was a little on the sketch side,, but I started to like it when the blending started. 3. Equilavent! I swear, I am NOT making fun of u! Maybe it was the time and u were tired, but man, when u said equilavent, instead of equivalent, I almost died. I had, u know one of this hard, loud, short but powerful laughs, that my poor dog woke up barking scared, and my husband came rushing, asking what happened.... 😂 OMG it was like a thunder laugh! I know is not a big deal, it was just a word, but I was so invested and concentrated listening to u, that, that equilavent, killed me! Thank u for making me laugh. Can I recommend the wind up silly scents crayons, they are soft (not pastel soft) but they are a joy to sketch with. I was just doodling the other day in my sketch book with random supplies in the kids tub and I was like "Hey these are freakin awesome."

everyone, what is your go to brand of oil pastels atm? i watched a lot of BlackBeans videos and thought his must be crayola, so i finally ordered some to try out and was so excited. i bought big paper and terpentine, then realized the oil pastels will take a month to ship and found an older video where he said he'd maybe stop using crayola... but oh well, i am still looking forward to trying the crayolas out if they ever reach me (edited to ask everyone for their favorite oil pastels, not just BlackBean, so thanks for every hint! :> )

Bic oil pastels are from the UK I remember seeing them when I was over there when I was seeing family

I just got these like earlier and they’re my first oil pastels ……they’re not bad but the layering it horrible!!! Sadly it’s hard to find art supplies where I stay but imma continue looking

It's always fun to see companies that are known for one thing pop up with items, especially the unrelated ones, in a shared or foreign consumer market. Like Yamaha , which are known for motorcycles, was originally a maker of Reed organs, pianos and many other instruments. And to tickle a iconographic/graphic design funny bone, their logo are actually tuning forks. But my most recent find were Sharpie pens. So silky and glidetastic! And don't Bic make lighters?

Can you do a video where you do ta drawing with all your brands of oil pastels, like blue crayola, red senellier, yellow pentel, and so on. One of each brand in one drawing

I liked the green and the piece tha you made. You have a natural talent to be interestingly funny like tv show or movie funny. Study acting and get yourself a contract on a tv show. I would love to see you in a family show or comedy. You have a lot of talent.
