In this video, I show you a somewhat simplified way how to find the biceps pulley on shoulder MRI. I am aware that this is probably not perfect from a academic point of view. feel free to deep dive into this topic in the links provided down below. However, I feel that using my system here is easy enough to detect the pulley and later on realize when a pulley lesion is present and this will make you much faster when reading studies for this pathology.

this video is what I am looking for a long time ,its hard to find those structure on MRI, in our hospital ,the thickness of image is 0.5 cm ,so there is a lot of things we missed, we used 3.0T ,but we can't provide the classic images ,that always bummer me a lot

thank you aaron for the comment. 5mm thick slices seems to big to be honest. Why is that? I would suggest to go down to 3mm or even 2.5mm.

At around 3:05, biceps is at the anterior edge of supraspinatous. I think this is just a slip of the tongue. great video. thanks

may I ask ? 6:35 is that sequence T1WI with fat saturation or PWI ?

it is a T1 fat sat after Arthrography

+ Subscapularis? If biceps dislocated fully then it means all three (SGHL, CH lig, and subscap) are likely all torn?
