Fantastic drone footage 👍🏻 Its absolutely fantastic that the railways is being reinstated. And not before time. Shame the OLE had been cancelled 😩 Hopefully they'll see the benefit of reopening lines like the Boarders line so more will follow 😄

A fantastic sight to see. It will be nice to see this route open once again. I have happy memories of working over the line .

This is a great project Oxford to Cambridge but they need to think about electrifying it from the word go in order to optimise its possibilities.

Great video. They should have never closed this line. Remember going on the trains from the original station. Winslow has changed so much in the 6 or 7 years since I left. Winslow born and bred, so many great memories

Hello. How miles of it is new track? I know its replacing a disused track, but wasn't a section of it only for freight?

When are works due to finish and trains start running ?

My old stomping ground. Closer to Wolverton though. MK. 1980s. There is an old railway line from Wolverton to Newport Pagnell that is the Redway now. I used to zoom along it on my BMX. We moved to NZ in the late 80s. Not many trains here. One passenger train per day from Auckland to Wellington. More for tourists than anything else. Could just about walk faster. NZ has upsides though. We have mostly dodged this rona thing so far, so only a few weeks lock down in the past year. No football or Jaffa Cakes here though. Rugby and Toffee Pops instead. I hear MK stole a football team from South London and never gave it back.
