That is the biggest lie. Undocumented immigrants just like documented immigrants pay taxes when they work or spend money. When they get their checks, it is automatically deducted from them, when they purchase food or goods like everyone, it is automatically deducted from them. AND they don't get to be reimbursed or tax refunded like many of us US citizens or documented immigrants do. They don't get to benefit from public care like food stamps or medical care - they rip no benefit, WE ACTUALLY take advantage of them by having them do jobs none of us want to do. Furthermore, I work as an immigration advocate for detained children- the children in cages was a concept that emanated from the Trump administration. The separation of children from their parents was a concept that emanated from Trump. Most times those kids stay in those cages for up to 3 days. the cages under Obama were not for small kids and families - and their use was for a few hours until travelers spoke to custom border protection and either released to speak to a judge at a later hearing or returned automatically to their country. Trump's policies were just malicious and their intent was to dissuade parents and families to seek refuge in the US. How are you giong to dissuade someone running for their lives with their family? You are ready to brave the hardest things to get your family to safety and then you're treated like a criminal in the country supposed to hear you and understand you before making a decision on your case.
