I watched my mother-in-law freeze up at times, then forget what she was saying, and have issues with wording. Then there were times she seemed sharper than anyone. She was a Special Ed teacher for 39 years before retiring. It takes a really special human being to do that job. Once she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's as a family member it was one of the most difficult things to watch. One day you would get the person that knew you and loved you and the next day you would get "Hello, it's nice to meet you". Setting aside the fact that Biden is one of the worse Presidents in my life time, it blows me away that loved ones do not step in and allow this human being to walk away with his dignity. Power, Control, and Greed are the focus of some at any cost.

I taught high school students in the classroom until I was 70 years old and had enough sense to know that it was time to walk away. One of the best movies about baseball that I've ever seen was "For the Love of the Game." Kevin Cosner portrayed an aging pitcher on a major league team who probably could have played a few more years, but he loved the game enough to know that he would both embarrass himself, and more importantly, the game itself, if he didn't step down and retire. I wish we had a president that loved our country enough to know when it's time to call it quits.
