Biden confuses French President Emmanuel Macron with ex-leader Mitterrand, who died in 1996

President Biden on Sunday appeared to mix up French President Emmanuel Macron with a former leader of the European country who’s been dead for nearly three decades.
During a campaign speech in Las Vegas, the 81-year-old president inaccurately recalled speaking to former French president Francois Mitterrand - who died in 1996 - during a 2021 meeting with world leaders.
“It was in the south of England. And I sat down and I said, ‘America is back,’ and Mitterrand from Germany, I mean from France, looked at me and said - said, ‘you know what - why - how long you back for?’” Biden said, referring to conversation at the G7 summit in which NATO heads discussed the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol.
“And I looked at him, and the - and the chancellor of Germany said, ‘What would you say Mr. President, if you picked up the paper tomorrow in the London Times and the London Times said, ‘A thousand people break through the House of Commons, break down the doors, two Bobbies are killed in order to stop the election of a prime minister. What would you say?’

I've been saying for a year that he looks like my residents in memory care. It doesn't take an RN like me to see that his face and body movement proves he is declining mentally and physically. His doctor gave him a clean bill last year but failed to complete mental cognitive assessments which all Medicare patients have to go through during their annual wellness visit to a doctor. I wonder what will happen during his visit this year which by the way is probably due this month of February. Additionally, he began talking to dead people since September of 2022 and I would be surprised if he makes it to November, unless he is faking his mental and physical frailty.

@willmack5909 I have never voted, nor would I, but that is baffling beyond anything I can think of. Here is just a man, an elderly man with declining health, and people are trying to keep him as their leader for 4 years more? At 106 years of age, my Grandmother was still quick-witted. My father is almost 95 and still goes to the gym and is the same as he was 30 years ago. But this guy is clearly not fit to take care of himself, let alone be responsible for the lives of millions. If there is one of you that plans on trying to reelect him reading this, can you PLEASE logically help me understand how you see this man as fit
