Sam is clearly slower than when he was younger. We can see it in the old videos. Old Sam talks more slowly and deliberately, he hesitates, sometimes he use the wrong words (which he catch himself 95% of the time). Young Sam was extremely quick on his feet. Humans reach their peak around 20-25, and then it is downhill all the way. It pains me to say this because I'm in my 60s. I haven't noticed any deterioration in myself, but I am pretty sure that is because it is myself. You can't see it in yourself. It's so sad that Biden has well over a decade on me, and he doesn't realize it. He should have known it when he was younger. I mean I knew it when I was 30. I was tipped off by the hair loss. When I was 12, I had so much hair, it looked like they couldn't fit on my head. The loss of so much hair, my own dad's clear baldness, made me realize I was going to have to shave my head soon. It says obvious that my body was deteriorating. The hypermetropia only confirms it soon after. I hit the scientific literature, looked at the performance of athletes, chess players, etc looked at their ages, and it was clear as day. A 25 year old is fitter than a 35 yo, is fitter than a 45 yo is fitter than a 55 yo. Hopefully, the 45 yo President has more wisdom than a 25 yo, though it may not necessarily be so (eg Trump). A 65 yo may still have retained enough mental capacity and capability, although it is not linked directly to age (eg Bernie is more functional than Biden).

If Joe Biden loses it's because a couple hundred thousand people in a handful of swing states didn't feel motivated enough to call out of work for a few hours. Kamala is a viable candidate only because she is a "generic democratic." Ordinary people like the Democrats more than the Republicans but are just highly unmotivated by the prospect of voting for a walking talking corpse.

Go back and listen to Biden in 2019 and compare it to more recent speeches, go and really listen to Biden while he speaks nowadays. Don't look at things in black and white. Yeah, it's super disappointing to see this. Biden had record grassroots fundraising after the debate--they aren't talking about it. The bloomberg poll that came out AFTER the debate showed Biden narrowing the gap with Trump--haven't heard them talk about it. If you believe the polls, the race is--like Biden said--a toss up. And I believe the polls are skewed towards Trump. Regardless, it would help if people stopped shitting on the guy we need to win.

The solution is to actually win the election. Biden has nowhere to go but down
