As a conservative, it’s always refreshing to hear from liberals who don’t seem pants-on-head crazy. I don’t necessarily agree with many of your stances, but you are 100% correct on this issue. If Biden runs, it’s over. And I work in physical therapy with dementia patients; not even trying to be mean - Biden seems a lot like the dementia residents I care for on a daily basis. He’s struggling very badly. Even though I’m not a liberal and don’t want a liberal to win, I at least think the Democrats deserve a party leader running on the ticket that genuinely is a good representative of their values and is capable of leading the nation.

Many people don't realize that poll data is the sampling of less than 5,000 people majority of time. Questions to think about is what areas were these poll questions asked, how was the poll questions worded and number of people polled. It's easy to manipulate poll data to get it to say what is needed for a certain point of view.

IMO, the issue boils down to three generations being frustrated at people over 65 who stubbornly hold onto power and will never until they are literally wheeled out of office in an ambulance, give up power. Seeing the Democratic Party quadruple-down on their support of the status quo and a complete failure to allow progressives in, or even people who are Gen X, (yes, progressives have been fighting the status quo as well since the 90s and getting ignored by the old boomers in power - this isn't just a "millennial" thing) leaves a bad taste in our mouths. We're talking about everyone under 50, basically. Three generations of progressives kept out of power and from having any voice at all. Seeing the ancient 1% and their boomer sycophants goble up everything in a never-ending thirst for power and excess like some bloated cancerous growth that can't stop itself, while we see the world around us coming apart at a local level. I'm not complaining, but just explaining how incredibly done with it all my entire generation is. We hit 100% frustration a decade ago. We thought that Bernie might fix things. But politics as usual.
