It’s wild how both parties picked the worst possible candidates. Any other Republican could beat Biden by a landslide, and any other Democrat could beat Trump by a landslide. I’m praying that 2028 gives us better options. It’s hard to be optimistic in these times, but you can only go up from here (of course I thought the same in 2016 😣)

I've heard that Trump has not been seen in 10 days. Why is it that Trump has shown senility, just as frequently as Biden in the past, but that fact totally ignored? Trump may be unavailable by November! That would solve some problems.

Because he hasn’t. Let me be clear Trump is not a spring chicken, however to say the Trump is just as senile as Biden is INSANE. Biden could barely speak on the debate night, Trump was lucid and articulate, and was no different than he was 8 years ago. There are many criticisms of trump you can make but unless he has a brain aneurysm, mental ability is not a good argument when your candidate has dementia.

However, your views make it clear you are MAGA supporters. I’ll let you all into a little secret, the rest of the world consider you a laughing stock. KZfaq won’t let me post a link but if you google the Canadian broadcaster David Doel, he has several hilarious videos on the crazy comments of Donald Trump. You really need to wake up to the fact that the rest of the world is not inline with your echo chamber. Sorry to be so blunt, as I’ve tried to be fair most of my life and I’m old but you MAGA are really ‘Beyond the Pale’. There’s a huge world out there, that is not the US of A.

This is actually very tricky. The Dems spent most of the money for the campaign already, so propping up a new candidate would be hard, because unlike with Biden, they'd need tons of adds to market the new person running for president. So I get why some dems don't want to swap Biden out.

@@eddapultstab2078Biden is not even a nominee yet. Why does the US political class so fixated on very long campaigns. August to November is long enough for any political campaign. The new nominee just needs to go on every news station and the internet will do the rest. The "ads" these days are anti-Trump not probiden so a new candidate would still work.

Well all his delegates are now obligated to vote for him at the DNC, and for the delegates to go against the primaries would be completely unprecedented. Biden would have to step down, and he’s made it very clear about 8 times now that he has no intention of doing so. I’m pretty sure the only thing that will pull him out of this race is death, which at his age is not exactly impossible.

@@edoardoturco8780 it worked then, because half the democrats despised Hillary. I Normally vote blue and I still choose libertarian that year because she had too much baggage on her. Did I regret it? A little. Biden on the otherhand despite republican gaslighting has already demonstrated that not only will he not abuse its power, but won't even use it shield his own son while the other dude was long into putting pardon powers up for auction among other things. Just saying he's a doddering old MSN but I still trust him with the button than the other dude.

The problem with big tent politics. When everyone can only rally behind one person, and that person is revealed to be an idiot, then victory is impossible. No other candidate has a chance of raking in as many votes as Biden does. So he's their best shot.
