I do both things because it’s possible. I’m supporting the Democratic Party because Republicans want to cut or actually get rid of Social Security & Medicare/Medicaid. While President Biden capped the cost of Insulin to 35 for people under Medicare & wants to expand it. Check out Project 2025. I make automatic monthly donation payments to 2 charities I support that work with the poor. I collect items from family, friends & neighbors to take to the local thrift store that are part of a nonprofit Youth organization. Since I don’t have grandchildren to spend money I buy toys on sale throughout the year & donate them at Christmas time. I buy new sneakers & Uniforms, backpacks, school supplies for Back to school poor kids. Donate money to the food bank on a regular basis. My husband & I have always given money to relatives that didn’t have enough money to buy their kids school supplies, glasses, uniforms, shoes, socks, clothes. A couple of teenagers didn’t have money for graduation pictures all kinds of stuff. So we are able to do both donate to the Democrats & poor people & organizations

Help the poor by helping and administration that is trying to rebuild our economy by bring jobs back. The problems of the poor can not be solved exclusively through donations. We are so arrogant that we do not consider tools used by other countries and simply poke holes in them. Why are the Scandinavian countries ALWAYS in the top 5 happiest countries?

@brianlain4164 I think Bidens aging is alot more nuanced than "slowed" He's still excelling in many areas, the important areas of governance. He's showing no signs of dropping the ball in the daily decisions of the office, or in his comprehension of the most complex of foreign affairs. He still has the speech disability that he has had all his life. But world leaders respect him. Respect his skill and leadership. You could too. But you may not be able to understand the complex nuances of aging. That each individual ages very differently. He will surprise all of you doubters. I know it. His body is frail, but his will is powerful and his will - will win.
