1. Le Bon Marché

: The first and most famous department store is Paris
It has all the luxury boutiques.
An enormous escalator in zig zag is a must see.
It's a little bit far from the other department stores but is the most visited by the locals.
Beside high-end brands, the rest of the brands are placed
with no limits and no booths, so you can see them all together.
And because of that, you start looking around in one hanger
and you naturally move to the next one not noticing your shopping time has extended.
Shoes and clothes are in different floors so it provides a more efficient shopping route.
2. Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf

: Samaritaine department store is located next to the Pont Neuf Bridge
This place has more than 150 years in history. It's like an International cultural heritage.
Recently LVMH Group took over and performed a remodeling, opening its door newly.
The glass dome and Fresco painting that you can find in the top floor, is that must go photo-spot.
The old and new buildings opened their doors together, the old building has a round shape
and you can find luxury brands in there.
The new building that is surrounded by a glass facade,
and you can find juvenile/casual/street/men’s brands in there.
Also, the stairs that were restored stair by stair, is also a very nice photo zone.
3. Printemps Haussmann

: Printemps Haussmann department store is a department store nice to see together with Lafayette.
It has the fashion department and housing department separately.
It has a very impressive glass dome, but from the 1st floor you can't see it.
But, it's design in such way that as you are going to upper floors you start seeing it.
When you get to the 6th floor you can see the dome completely.
I felt it was one of most balanced department stores since there are
many juvenile and trendy brands located inside.
4. Galeries Lafayette Haussmann

: Main building, homme department building, home & food department building,
It has three different buildings. I think this is the department store I felt it was the biggest.
In case of Men’s, I will recommend Lafayette with no doubt.
You can see the most famous glass dome in the 1st floor
where the cosmetic stores are located.
In a part of that, since the keep the old stairs and elevators
it is a fun place to walk and see around.
Since it's near to the opera house, it basically has a lot of foot traffic
so, you have to invest enough in your shopping time.
Because it's big, there is nothing that you can't find in there.
If you only can visit one department store,
I will recommend Lafayette!
