Tottenham Hotspur fans wanted their team to lose against Man City. This may seem unusual but it’s because if they had beat Man City, the Premier League title would be in Arsenal’s hands and they would more than likely go on to win the league. Tottenham and Arsenal are big rivals. Their fans hate each other. So during the game one fan kept shouting at Ange Postecoglou to stop trying and to let City win. Ange didn’t take this well and by the end of the game had enough. What do you make of what happened? Comment below.

Ange is a winner.. his passion is what makes him a legend with celtic.. that 'supporter' wouldn't last 2 min in parkhead.hes came from a club with proper foundations and fans that live for the club from childhood rather than buy a season ticket to be ... well.. arsenal haters rather than spurs supporter. Spurs are a great team .. ange is the guy to take you to next level.. he is a proper manager with team but also hes unreal with fans and if that means pulling them up for stuff then you are lucky to have him.. Our media used to give him grief back in the day and he ended up winning us our first continental cup which worked pretty well in silencing the critics. I was at the game on Tuesday night, it wasn’t all the Spurs fans that wanted City to win, I don’t pay my hard earned cash to watch them lose, anybody watching that game will know that we could have actually beat them. Their substitute Keeper who came on for the last 30 minutes got Man of the Match!!! for all the saves he made…. The press have focussed on what some of the fans were chanting but there were many of us behind the goal when Son was one on one with the keeper that were gutted that he didn’t bury it in the back of the net. You even see Pep on the floor at the time because he was certain Son would equalise. I don’t often comment on social media but there is a silent majority of Spurs fans that wanted a win on Tuesday. We lost any chance of CL football when we lost 4 games against Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, not on Tuesday night. And Arsenal lost the league when they lost to Aston Villa at home. That’s all I have to say!

Spurs could beat Man City and help Arsenal win the PL trophy but still not qualify for CL football if Aston Villa win its final game irrespective of Spurs final match result. The risk is high and the troll from Arsenal fans will be never ending. This result put to bed a trophyless season for Arsenal and confirmed no CL football for Spurs. When rivalry goes, I think these makes a lot of sense for Spurs fans giving the situation they are in.

Ange is absolutely right but I think he needs to take a chill pill. As a Spurs fan of 40+ years, we have won very little, always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Many false dawns have actually led most Spurs supporters to lower their expectations. This is only natural, it will take time to build belief amongst the fans. Seeing arsenal fail is perhaps our only joy, just as they continually reminded us, we had won the league in October when our form dropped. As they say, success breeds success. and hopefully, finally Ange is the man to take us there and the fans can start to believe and think as winner do.

Never root for your own team to lose. I'm a Leeds fan and one of the all time most memorable moments in the Premier League was Viduka's last minute winner at Arsenal in 2003 to keep us up. That goal pretty much gave the title to Man United. Also more recently when we beat Man City at the Etihad in 2021 with Dallas's last minute winner gave Man United hope...but we all loved both moments!

Aston Villa lost against crystal palace so if Tottenham won against Man City, Tottenham would've qualified for the champions league which they won't now. 😂
